Two Hour Historic Harbor Tour with the History of Diving Museum’s Executive Director Lisa Mongelia on the S/V Argo Navis talking about the history of underwater diving.
On Thursday, March 20, Mongelia will lead an illuminating morning seafaring excursion presented by Key West Art & Historical Society aboard the luxury catamaran SV Argo Navis, departing from the dock at 0 Margaret Street at 10:00 a.m. and returning at 12:00 p.m.
Passengers will enjoy Bloody Marys, mimosas or non-alcoholic beverages along with lite breakfast fare as Mongelia speaks about the international developments on venturing deeper and staying longer under the sea. Documented efforts spanned over 4,000 years, and includes the special role South Florida and the Florida Keys played in this untold story.
