Two Hour Historic Harbor Tour with Dr. Cori Convertito on the S/V Argo Navis talking about ‘The Lighthouses of the Florida Keys’
Sail into historic exploration with Curator & Historian Dr. Cori Convertito aboard the luxury sailing catamaran S/V Argo Navis
On Saturday, April 12, Convertito will lead a historically illuminating morning seafaring excursion presented by Key West Art & Historical Society aboard the luxury catamaran S/V Argo Navis, departing from the dock at Sunset Pier, adjacent to Ocean Key House at 0 Duval Street at 10:00 a.m. and returning at 12:00pm.
Passengers will enjoy Bloody Marys, mimosas or non-alcoholic beverages along with a variety of pastries as Convertito shares the back-story of all of the Florida Keys Lighthouses including their construction and current status.
Space is limited to 50 passengers – early registration is recommended.
About the Presenter:
Dr. Cori Convertito is the curator and historian for the Key West Art & Historical Society. She has published extensively on British and American maritime history topics and local Key West history.
