A Streetcar Named Desire Garden Party & Fundraiser Celebrating Tennessee Williams

This party is the kick-off event for the March 2025 Tennessee Williams Key West Festival being organized by the Key West Art and Historical Society.  The Fundraiser will be held in the garden at 1207 Whitehead Street, residence of Dennis Beaver, Curator of the Tennessee Williams Museum, and Bert Whitt.  All proceeds support the Tennessee Williams Museum.

There will be an high-end open bar and an abundance of delicious hors d’oeuvres prepared on site with a southern flair.  Live jazz music and a silent auction will compliment the evening.

In keeping with the A Streetcar Named Desire theme, guests are encouraged to dress in the style of any major character in the play such as Blanche DuBois, Stella Kowalski, Stanley Kowalski, and Harold Mitchell.  Judges will award prizes for the most creative interpretation.

  • Date: March 2
