Professional Day Workshop: The History and Art of Sugar Skulls @ Fort East Martello | Key West | Florida | United States

In this hands-on workshop, the children will learn the story behind the Mexican tradition Día de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead). They will decorate their own Calavera de azúcar (sugar skull). The purpose of this workshop is to enrich and educate the children about the beauty and purpose of sugar skulls and their role in celebrating and memorializing loved ones that have passed on. Ages 5 and up.
