MH: Sugar Skull Workshop @ Fort East Martello | Key West | Florida | United States

Join us on the first Tuesday of every month for a day of museum antics at the Garrison, Fort East Martello. In this hands-on workshop, the children will learn the story behind the Mexican tradition Día de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead). They will decorate their own Calavera de azúcar (sugar skull). The purpose of this workshop is to enrich and educate the children about the beauty and purpose of sugar skulls and their role in celebrating and memorializing loved ones that have passed on.
