Ages 5-13 (Please note that due to the intensive nature of our camps, we are unable to accommodate 4-year-olds)
Join sculptor and mask-maker Deborah Buterbaugh in this creative exploration of masks. Learn about masks from around the world. Create masks and totem poles using different materials: a mosaic sugar skull, a cardboard 3D African or Native American mask, a Venetian Carnival mask, totem animal masks and Balinese masks from clay. The week will end with a short play using your creations.

In addition to registering online we will require a more detailed form for emergency purposes. The ArtCamp! 2017 registration form and Camper Code of Conduct will be available on the first day of camp and must be completed prior to the commencement of camp.
Camp commences at 9:00AM and ends at 4:00PM. Each week the children will enjoy a field trip to a local museum or venue associated with the camp’s theme. To ensure the comfort of your child throughout the day, we have included a list of essentials. Please pack these items in a beach bag that can be left at the camp. The bags will be kept in a designated storage area to which the children will have access. It is important that all items be labelled with your child’s name. Snacks will be provided, however, the children will require a packed lunch. Pizza will be provided on the field trip unless otherwise noted. We look forward to sharing an action-packed summer with your child!
